Cremations in Archaeology Conference (CIA 2024)

In May 2024, Hannah Leonard, Giacomo Capuzzo and Christophe Snoeck participated in the Cremations in Archaeology Conference (CIA 2024) in Ljubljana, Slovenia. They presented a poster showcasing the first results on the early adoption of cremation practices in Belgium. Their study applied strontium isotope analysis to Bronze Age cremated remains from the Weelde site and other cremation cemeteries located in the Campine region of northeastern Belgium.
